Was reading the brochure and saw that the set will include:

2 Head Hunter Guards
6 Head Hunter Stormtroopers
6 BATS!!! Woot!!!

The Joes will be a set of SWAT members, Shockwave anybody?!

the parachute figure will be a 3 3/4 Sky BAT!!!

Sounds good so far!!!

Sounds like a cool set. Probably won't partake, since I've got headhunters, and they're giving the BAT a 25th treatment. Severely tempted by the SkyBAT though. My guess is that it's the BAT v5 (from the 6-pack) with some sort of winged backpack, maybe? That would give them a perfect representation. :thumbsup

I still need to pick up the female cobra officer . . .

Wow, this set actually sounds pretty friggin' awesome!

That does sound good, I'm tempted to get it now...

Bah. Who am I kidding? If they remake the BAT v1 head I'll probably grab me one of those . . .

Now I'm glad that I didn't buy any Headhunters.

The Three Joes? Shockwave the 92 mold, Widescope, the Shockwave 88 mold and.... I don't know. I'm thinking Bulletproof but I'm hoping Bazooka or Law and Order.

Sounds pretty awesome.

I'm hoping Shockwave, Widescope, and Lowlight.....maybe Red Spot.

But overall sounds cool!

I wonder why no Goldmember Headman, from the DDPSM: Brazil comic?

Seriously, I may have to pre-order this set. It sounds pretty bad ass. The B.A.T.s are just service bots that get all rowdy? STFU :eeek

Head Hunter Storm Troopers = WIN on any day that ends in Y.

S.W.A.T. Joes? Again, STFU :eeek

I can only imagine what the extras are going to be.

This sounds cool to me. I'm wondering if they're gonna use the v2 bat mold.

as far as I know is the lower part of the v1 bat is still around.

most of the parts are made from what is left over from the original line.

it could also be a frankin bat, made from parts of all the molds that have come out.

joe swats figures are> Shockwave and widescope.

any other swat figures would be based of MP figures.

that would Law, Mutt, and Sure fire

They've gotta have an ace up their sleeve for the BATs. A new mold '86 style head or something. Hasbro already did a bang-up job on the '91, giving it a '1986' paint scheme, so it can't just be something too close to that.

Original legs, new '1986' head, and the '91 torso? :think

How much of the 1986 is missing? Just the head, or the torso and arms too? B/c the above, but also with the '86 arms would be :eeek

headhunters and bats. holyshit. Why have I been buying the headhunter stormtroopers.lol. if they turn out cool Im selling all my originals except 1.

03-26-2008, 06:49 PM
sounds great! I just hope they use V1 Shockwave!

03-26-2008, 07:14 PM
the v1 bat waste, legs, and boots are still around.

from what i can tell the upper body of shockwave is gone, the waste and legs may still be around.
they where last used in 1993

the v2 body is still around and kicking.
it was re used to make sure fire.

they can use v2 long range chest for shockwave, it is close in style.

03-26-2008, 07:24 PM
hopefully they'll just get a new mold, theyve done it in the past.

03-26-2008, 08:18 PM
Yeah...me thinks I may purchase this here set.

What would be even better are to have joes that we normally wouldn't think of being SWAT characters such as Hardball, Repeater, Recoil and so forth. Shockwave and the others would be cool too.

I hate to be the one to rain on this parade, but from what I remember most of the figure parts here were lost in South America, so that means A) Recasts of some parts and a lot of Frankenstiening, or B) they found a lot of the missing parts and that could include the V1 B.A.T., which is what I'm hoping for.

Altogether is sounds like a solid set, and I'd love to go if I can.

The HeadHunter Stormtrooper was the hardest figure to find for my collection. I don't even remember how much I paid it for it, but probably entirely too much, and the Headhunters weren't any easier. I'm thrilled to see the set, I'll be buying it definetly, just a bit disappointed in how much money I already spent and how much I'm gonna spend this time around lol.

I actually waited until I saw them at BBTS during a sale and snagged them then. That's how I got my two Headhunters.

I really wish I had tiered shelving (and more space) to display all of my RAH construction (old and new sculpt) figures. I think I'll be done with them when I can get ahold of CC v4 and a few others. After that I've switched to the new construction (with the exception of the convention figs/other lines that reuse RAH--like the Hulk movie--that catch my eye). I'm not really actively looking for the rest of the RAH stuff I need, but if I see it I'll grab it.

this is who should be in the set>
shockwave> swat
bullhorn> negotiator
law and order> mp and k 9
sure fire > mp
crosshair> sniper

all dress in utban assault gear

I would love to see what is in store for this set. The concept sounds really different and it'll be interesting to see it.

03-29-2008, 06:11 PM
If they make a new mold 86 BAT head (Could be using the 25th BAT head modified to work with the classic construction) the 86 Waist and Legs and Arms and Torso from the 91 BAT and I'm in.
