Remember way back nearly 2 months ago, when I tried to build that seat and tower addition to my Weather Dominator and I wasn't satisfied with it? :eyebrow

http://www.cobraisland.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4590

It was too short, too much tape, it didn't look like one solid piece, etc. So, I tore it all out and started over again.

Take a picture with Destro in the seat! :D

Your wish is my command, HA-HA!!! :ohyeah

:destro <BEHOLD!!!

The silver tube is filled with spray-on expanding foam insulation, then I mounted it on an old Qui-Gon Jinn lightsaber. He's dead and he wasn't doing anything with it anyway.

That means, yes, it rotates, elevates, and it even does the sound effect that Sunbow stole from Star Wars!!! :mwahaha

Now all I have to do is get it in back of the display. It's going to be positioned rising up from behind the T-drome on the top shelf. That'll be awhile. :bye Had to pull my Detonator out of there, but this will be worth it. Just a few more months and the display will be finally done! :rock

Cool, very cool, I love how you used the light saber.

O/T I see that you completed Live the Adventure II, operation space station too, did you win anything, or did you just get the certificate of completion? Also did you do Live the Adventure, Cobra Island and get a certificate for that too?

Just got it in a paperwork lot. I was amazed that it was unsigned, so I framed it.

No. I'm looking for one in the same condition as the Adventure II cert. though.

I just realized that as a kid, I completely skipped everything sold in 1986. I had other interests at the time and a friend had the whole '86 set, so I didn't have to bother. Also, the concept of "army building" was completely lost on us. :rolleyes

When I'd go over to someone's house, I brought all the stuff they missed ('82-'85), and vice-versa. It was a "potluck" kind of thing. :D

Congrats man! Looks nice. But...How are you going to fit that in a shelve? That piece is huge!

The whole Cobra army display is going directly into a corner of the room with the shelves surrounding the WD on both sides, but only touching the shelf corners. Note diagram below (an overhead view).

Shelf (*) against wall.
|
| :cobra = A large round T-drome that sits overlapping the
| edges of both shelves. Because the T-drome is round, there is
| just enough space in the corner for the WD to sit behind.

v
_______@
*__|:cobra|
x__|_*_| <--wall.

@ = the WD.
x = the viewer/open floor space.

Neither can I. :cookie Between that and Ooalb's Laura Prepon signature, I can't get any work done.
