Attention all you SWAT lovers! Sideshow Collectibles has confirmed that there will be a premium format Shockwave released down the line. This is great news for those of us who love GI Joe's Law Enforcement Devision...let alone masked men......er....

Q: Is Sideshow going to make a Beach Head or Shock Wave G.I. Joe 12-inch figure?

A: Yes, Beachhead is development and will be unveiled in early 2010. Shock Wave has just recently graduated to a spot on our line list, but we have yet to begin development.

Beachhead is old news and while Shockwave will be cool to see...he's a second tier Joe at BEST. Can't we see Gung Ho or Flint come before him?

Is it just me or is Sideshow really running the gamut of all the "faceless" Joes and Cobra's first before having to try and sculpt some real faces? Duke is the only unmasked Joe they've made so far!

Indeed! Re-issues like this and a Tiger Force Duke should be reserved for events like SDCC or Wizard World. In 08 they put out Aayla Secura that way and I think it was a mistake. No reason to have not put her out on her own (or at all for that matter when other major characters still haven't seen any light of day from Sideshow)

That was kindofa BS move on their part. No reason it couldn't have been done this Friday since it won't be out for another half a year or so, and thats if it's NOT delayed or pushed back, cause that would never happen. :shifty

yeah but Aayla was available to order right after SDCC.....same w/ all their exclusives. honestly, I've never had a problem ordering their stuff....then again I'm chained to a computer @ work.....

which is why I bit the bullet couple years ago and got a Blackberry. (ok, begged the wife for a Blackberry for Christmas, but, you get the idea)
