    RIT dye ?

    I dyied a iron monger but his torso would not take the dye. His arms and legs worked very well. I was wondering if anyone had a way to fix this problem im having?

    Did you try leaving the torso in the dye longer?

    I know dying is kind of tricky, especially sense different figure parts are made with different plastics/thicknesses.

    That is all I can think of doing.

    Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
    Thy AK and thy Glock, they comfort me.

    i left it in over night, i scrubed it down with some nail polish remover and am trying it again. If this does not work im going to sand it down alittle and try again.

    I haven't tried Rit Dye yet, so I can't really help. It is something I want to dabble in next.

    I know Darkwynter on Joe Customs is really good at it...you may want to send him a message over on JC to get some tips from him.

    thanx apac.
    I know what i was doing wrong now even though the figure turned out great i had to paint the torso, but the dye seemd to change it to where it holds the paint really well. Oh ya and if you ever get a chance to try this use the liquid dye over the powder to me its easier to mess with.
